The Nellore District Collectorate Internship Program invites motivated individuals to step into the heart of public administration and make a difference.
About the Program
This is a unique opportunity to work directly with the District Collector and various administrative departments in Nellore. As an intern, you will gain first-hand exposure to policy implementation, government schemes. More than just observers, interns are expected to act as changemakers-contributing to planning, monitoring, and evaluating public programs, and even pitching their own low-investment, high-impact projects for implementation with district support.
What You’ll Do?
- Conduct field visits and assess real-time program implementation
- Assist in drafting reports, policy briefs, and presentations
- Interact with community members to identify ground-level issues and solutions
- Design and lead your own short-term development or governance initiative
- Analyze data and provide insights to support administrative decisions
Who Can Apply?
We welcome final-year students or recent graduates/postgraduates from disciplines like:
Public Administration, Social Sciences, Development Studies, Engineering, or other relevant fields. Students or graduates from tier 1 and 2 colleges are considered.
Command of English writing is essential; knowledge of Telugu is an added advantage
You must be self-driven, adaptable to fieldwork, and deeply committed to public service

- Familiarity with government schemes or digital governance tools is a plus
