Job Summary:
Join our customer’s team as an AI Compliance Manager and play a pivotal role in establishing and leading our compliance function. You’ll create and implement policies that position our SaaS-based AI recruitment products for success in international enterprise deals, ensuring alignment with cutting-edge global AI legislation. This is your opportunity to shape mission-critical compliance processes from the ground up in a highly collaborative and innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build and lead the compliance team, defining its structure, processes, and vision
• Develop comprehensive compliance documents, including transparency reports, human oversight policies, data training/handling policies, risk assessments, mitigation plans, and more.
• Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and sales teams to ensure our offerings meet global regulatory requirements, especially those outlined in the NY Laws and the EU AI Act
• Drive readiness for conformity assessments and regulatory alignment, particularly around EU “high-risk” system criteria
• Act as the primary point of contact for enterprise clients’ legal, compliance, and technical teams, providing clear and confident communication
• Integrate compliance best practices throughout the product lifecycle, proactively identifying and addressing regulatory risks
• Support the sales process by supplying documentation and expertise to help close complex enterprise deals
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Proven experience in compliance roles, specifically within SaaS or AI product environments
• In-depth knowledge of international law, emerging AI legislations, and industry standards (e.g., NY Laws, EU AI Act)
• Strong background in developing, documenting, and implementing compliance frameworks and policies
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to articulate complex compliance topics clearly to diverse stakeholders
• Demonstrated success engaging with cross-functional technical and non-technical teams
• Ability to independently drive projects and thrive in a fast-paced, remote-first setting
• Experience with enterprise customer interactions, legal reviews, and sales support
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience ensuring compliance for AI recruitment or HR technology products
• Legal or technical expertise specific to data training, handling, or high-risk AI use cases
• Background in building compliance teams or functions from scratch.
