About the Journal
The Journal of Legal Studies (ISSN: 2321-1059) is an International Refereed Peer-Reviewed biannual journal, published in January and July. It focuses on legal research, welcoming original papers, articles, short notes, and case comments. The upcoming issue will emphasize newly enacted criminal laws in India, like the Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), and Bhartiya Sakshya Adhiniyam (BSA).
Theme
Submissions can focus on various aspects of the newly enacted criminal laws, including comparative analysis, human rights, law enforcement, sentencing reforms, victim rights, corporate liability, and more.
Submission Categories
- Research Paper: 3,000-5,000 words
- Article: 2,000-3,000 words
- Short Notes & Case Comments: 1,500-2,000 words
Submission Guidelines
- Include a 300-word abstract and 5 keywords.
- Co-authorship is allowed (max 2 authors).
- The first page should only include author details and contact information.
- Use Times New Roman, Font Size 11 for the main text, and Size 09 for footnotes, conforming to Bluebook 21st edition.
- Submissions must be sent as an MS Word document.
- No plagiarized work will be accepted.
