About the Opportunity
LAW Foundation invites applications for the position of Documentation Officer under the Socio-Legal Aid Services (SLAS) project based in Patna, Bihar. This is a full-time role involving monthly field visits and close coordination with legal and social work teams.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Draft monthly, quarterly, and annual project reports
- Write case studies and impact narratives
- Coordinate with field teams for documentation and tracking
- Conduct prison and community visits
- Support proposal writing, research, and communication strategies
- Develop manuals and reporting tools for internal and external stakeholders
Who Can Apply?
First-generation learners and candidates from Dalit, Adivasi, Muslim, Queer, and other marginalized communities are encouraged to apply.
Eligibility Criteria
- Postgraduate degree in Social Work, Development Studies, or relevant Social Sciences
- Specializations in Criminology, Dalit and Tribal Studies, or Children and Families preferred
- 1 to 2 years of relevant experience preferred
- Fluency in English and Hindi
- Proficiency in MS Office and Canva
- Ability to travel for field visits
Remuneration
Rs. 36,000 per month plus allowances.
